Your formation is a partnership of faith and stewardship. Here, the Seminary and the wider Church invest in your preparation—sometimes covering tuition entirely for residential church-worker study—so you can devote yourself to Scripture, worship, and learning. Each year, you’ll complete a simple and timely application, and our team will guide you step by step.

All residential seminary students enrolled in at least seven credit hours, international students, and those participating in a foreign exchange program, internship, or vicarage must enroll in the Concordia Health Plan (CHP) unless they qualify as eligible opt-outs according to CHP guidelines.
CTSFW offers full tuition coverage to every student enrolled in a residential church work program. This benefit, made possible through a combination of LCMS district aid, outside scholarships, home congregation support, and CTSFW tuition grant funds, covers all tuition charges required for the student’s degree program, including Summer and Fall Greek.
Eligible students must submit the consent form to receive full tuition coverage. Please note that access to the consent form requires a MyCTSFW portal login.
