Online Greek
The online sequence covers the same core material as the summer intensive at a steady pace. Three levels (Greek I–III) award four undergraduate quarter-hour credits each (12 quarter hours total). Plan for 8–10 hours per week; courses are graded satisfactory/unsatisfactory and fulfill the pre-seminary Biblical Greek requirement for EXT 110 Gospels I. Admission is not required for enrollment, but a “Special Student Application” must be completed.
- Asynchronous lessons with structured practice and instructor feedback.
- Regular quizzes and translation work to build steady proficiency.
- Self-paced within course windows; expect 8–10 hours weekly.
- Each level must be completed within 120 days of registration.
- Level I–III: 4 quarter hours each (12 total).
- S/U grading. Must be completed within four years prior to matriculation into the M.Div. or Alternate Route.
- May be transferable to an undergraduate program (confirm with receiving institution).
- Progressive mastery of grammar and vocabulary.
- Readiness for New Testament exegesis and seminary coursework.
- $480 per credit hour (pre-seminary rate).
- $80 Campus Use Fee per four (4) credits.
- For Greek I: submit the Special Student Application, the Pre-Seminary Online Greek Registration Form, $35 application fee, and $100 tuition deposit (applied to tuition).
- For Greek II–III: submit the Registration Form and $100 tuition deposit.
Refunds for the quarter’s tuition portion:
- Before first day: 100%
- During first week: 100%
- Before end of week 3: 75%
- Before end of week 4: 50%
- Before end of week 5: 25%
- After week 5: none

Summer Greek
An intensive, 10-week immersion in New Testament Greek led by the Rev. Dr. John Nordling. Meeting five days a week (12 credit hours), this course is designed for students with no prior Greek and fulfills the Seminary’s pre-seminary requirement. By term’s end, you will read and translate 1 John and be equipped to work through the Greek New Testament. Admission is required for enrollment.
