Christ Academy consists of three important elements: confessional catechesis, liturgical worship, and life together in Christ. This tradition of learning, worship, and fun is a wonderful experience for young men and women considering church work. Whether you are going through confirmation, in high school, or in college, there is a Christ Academy event for you.
History
Christ Academy began in the summer of 1999 as a two-week immersive experience for fifteen high school aged men. The Seminary recognized a hunger for robust theology and an opportunity for catechesis leading young men and women into church work, and Christ Academy grew. The summer experience expanded to Timothy School for young men and Phoebe School for young women. Over time, a confirmation retreat, college weekend, and family institute were added to provide catechesis and facilitate discernment for many ages. Over 1,200 participants and nearly 100 pastors are now proud alumni of this premier, robust, and fun opportunity.
